علّق الإعلامي العُماني البارز حمود الطوقي على الزيارة التي أجراها رئيس أذربيجان إلهام علييف وعقيلته مهريبان علييفا لمسجد تاريخي في مدينة أغدام المحررة من أرمينيا.
ونشر “الطوقي” فيديو من زيارة “علييف” وعقيلته للمسجد، وعلّق عليه بالقول: “مقطع يسيل دمع العين”.
وتابع حمود الطوقي قائلاً: “هذا هو رئيس جمهورية أذربيجان إلهام حيدر أوغلو برفقة زوجته يزور احد المساجد في مدينة كارباخ المحررة وكان يستخدم من قبل الارمن حظيرة للخنازير ورغم ان المكان غير نظيف نرى الرئيس ينزع حذاءه قبل دخوله المسجد. اللهم انصر الاسلام والمسلمين”.

وكان الرئيس “علييف” نشر عبر “فيسبوك” صوراً رفقة السيدة الأولى داخل المسجد وعند رفع العلم الأذربيجاني ولحظة تقبيلهما للقرآن.
وتفقد علييف المسجد وقام بتقبيل الجدار الوحيد الباقي من المسجد، كما قدم نسخة من القرآن الكريم جلبها من مدينة مكة في السعودية لمسؤولي المسجد.

وعلّق رئيس مركز الدراسات التركية الإسلامية في جامعة هازار الأذربيجانية، د.تيلمان نصرت أوغلو، على زيارة رئيس أذربيجان إلهام علييف للمساجد في المناطق المحررة من أرمينيا بالقول إنّها أعطت رسالة واضحة أن أذربيجان “بلد إسلامي”.
وكان الجيش الأرميني احتل نحو 77 بالمئة من أراضي محافظة أغدام عام 1993، وتم تهجير قرابة 200 ألف أذربيجاني من سكان المحافظة.
وبعد 27 عاما، دخل الجيش الأذربيجاني إلى أغدام، الجمعة بعد خروج القوات الأرمينية منها بموجب اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بين البلدين، بوساطة روسية.
وفي 10 نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الجاري، أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين توصل أذربيجان وأرمينيا إلى اتفاق ينص على وقف إطلاق النار في إقليم “قره باغ”.
فيما اعتبر رئيس أذربيجان إلهام علييف، الاتفاق بمثابة نصر لبلاده. مؤكدا أن الانتصارات التي حققها الجيش أجبرت رئيس الوزراء الأرميني نيكول باشينيان، على قبول الاتفاق مكرها.
