وطن – كشف مسؤول عسكري أمريكي عن أكبر تغيير في المعركة على الأرض، وما يواجهه الروس في الطريق إلى العاصمة الأوكرانية، حيث تواجه القوات الروسية المتقدمة نحو كييف، مقاومة أكبر من التي كانت تتوقعها.
وقال المسؤول الأمريكي: “لا أستطيع أن أعطيكم إحداثيات دقيقة لموقعهم الجغرافي، لكنهم لا يتقدمون نحو كييف بالسرعة التي توقعوها”، حسب قوله.
وأضاف المسؤول قائلا إن الروس “مستمرون في محاولاتهم الوصول إلى كييف”، رغم أنهم يواجهون مقاومة من الأوكرانيين.وفق “سي إن إن”
وأكد المسؤول عدم وجود “عمليات إنزال إضافية خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية”، في خاركيف.
وقال عن ذلك: “في منطقة خاركيف… لا تزال الاشتباكات قائمة ولا توجد عمليات إنزال جوي إضافية خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية، لكن النزاع على المنطقة لا يزال قائما”.
وشدد المسؤول الأمريكي على أن التغيير الأكبر هو رؤية التقدم الروسية من الجنوب، إذ لا تزال القوات الروسية تتقدم نحو خيرسون، لكن القوات تنقسم ليتجه جزء منها إلى شمال الشرق نحو ماريبول وإقليم دونباس”.
ومع ذلك، قال المسؤول إن بوتين حشد فقط حوالي ثلث القوات التي كان يتمركز فيها على الحدود الأوكرانية.
هذا وقال البيت الأبيض إنّ سقوط كييف بيد القوات الروسية محتمل بقوة رغم المقاومة التي يبديها الأوكرانيون.
بينما قالت هيئة الأركان الأوكرانية إن القوات المدافعة عن كييف مجهزة بالكامل ونعمل على تشكيل وحدات إضافية
وأضافت الهيئة أنّ الجيش وأجهزة إنفاذ القانون يعملان على التصدي للجماعات التخريبية في كييف.
من جانبها، قالت وزارة الدفاع الروسية إنّ قواتها دخلت مدينة مليتوبول الأوكرانية دون مقاومة بعد عملية إنزال برمائي.
