A recent revelation by the renowned account “Mujtahid” on the platform “X” (formerly Twitter) has brought to light intriguing details about the psychological profile of Saudi Crown Prince and de facto ruler, Mohammed bin Salman. According to western psychological experts cited by “Mujtahid”, the prince’s personality is a quintessential representation of what is termed as the “dark triad”. This psychological anomaly combines three personality disorders: psychopathy, narcissism, and Machiavellianism. Some even add a fourth trait, sadism, thus coining the term “dark tetrad”.

The account elaborates on these traits:

  • Psychopathy: Individuals with this trait lack empathy, remorse, and often act impulsively without considering the consequences. Their actions are not driven by bravery but by recklessness stemming from poor judgment.
  • Narcissism: Such individuals suffer from an inflated sense of self-worth, expecting constant praise and admiration. They react negatively to criticism and evaluate others based on how they perceive them.
  • Machiavellianism: These individuals prioritize their personal interests over others, devoid of any moral considerations. They evaluate people, events, and situations based on how they impact their personal interests.
  • Sadism: This trait is characterized by deriving pleasure from causing pain or suffering to others. The severity of sadism can range from indifference to others’ pain to actively seeking to harm or torture them.

“Mujtahid” further states that these traits are not mere temporary disorders that most people experience but are genuine pathological conditions with detrimental effects on those interacting with the affected individuals. The account emphasizes the danger posed by individuals possessing all these traits, especially if they hold significant power and influence.
