Watan- Two four-wheel-drive vehicles, belonging to Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, have become the focal point for visitors at the Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition. These vehicles were showcased under the banner of the Sharjah Old Cars Club, which concluded its participation a couple of days ago.

This year, the 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition attracted a significant number of visitors. The event, the largest of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, specializes in the hunting and equestrian sector, playing a pivotal role in promoting and preserving cultural heritage.

The Sharjah Old Cars Club released a promotional video of the two vintage vehicles, commenting on their social media, “We’ve brought two exceptional pieces of our classic car heritage to the international hunting and equestrian exhibition in Abu Dhabi.” They further added, “At first glance, they might seem like just two old cars, but behind them lie stories, history, and priceless memories.”

The Sharjah Classic Car Museum houses 85 classic cars, dating from 1915 to 1987. Among the other showcased vehicles are the Ford Mustang, MG Midget, Volkswagen Beetle, Citroen DS, Jeep Land Rover, Nissan Patrol, Renault Bus, Chevrolet Tanker Truck, and many more.

Huda Thani, an official from the Sharjah Old Cars Club, mentioned in statements to Emirati media outlets that the club is participating in the Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition. She highlighted the two four-wheel-drive vehicles that belong to Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi and invited all visitors for a virtual tour to view vintage cars dating back to 1915.
