Watan – In a startling turn of events, the Ismailia Security Directorate, a pivotal establishment located northeast of Cairo, was consumed by a ferocious blaze. As videos shared, they depict not just a building, but a city’s core, under siege by fire.

Local broadcasts, in their bid to keep the populace informed, have shown the frenetic pace of evacuations, with several injured individuals being ushered away from the calamity’s epicenter.
Health Sector Responds
The Ministry of Health and Population stated in a release that ambulance services provided immediate medical assistance to 12 individuals at the incident site, who were then able to leave. An additional 26 individuals were transferred to the Ismailia Medical Complex; among them, 24 were treated for smoke inhalation and two for burns. The ministry highlighted that seven of these patients were subsequently released after their health conditions improved.
Furthermore, the ministry declared a heightened state of readiness in hospitals throughout the Ismailia Governorate, in preparation for any further injuries resulting from the fire that broke out earlier this Monday at the Ismailia Security Directorate.
The ministry also confirmed the dispatch of 50 fully-equipped ambulances to the fire’s location immediately upon receiving notifications about the incident. They stressed the ready availability of all emergency medications and various blood types in the hospitals of the governorate.

In the aftermath, military aircraft were seen overhead, assisting in cooling the charred remains. On terra firma, first responders and civil protection units worked tirelessly, orchestrating evacuations and ensuring no soul was left behind.
