Behind Gaza’s Frontlines: Al Jazeera Reveals Al-Qassam’s Tactics
Israeli soldiers captured by Palestinian resistance after storming the Erez military site

Watan – “Al Jazeera” recently broadcast exclusive images and video showing dozens of Al-Qassam Brigades members storming the “Erez” military site, subsequently capturing and killing Israeli officers and soldiers. Additionally, the footage reveals the brigades taking control of military vehicles and equipment.

Situated at the Gaza Strip’s northernmost point, the “Erez Crossing” or Beit Hanoun primarily serves pedestrians and cargo and remains firmly under Israeli control.

Interestingly, the video captures an explosion near a settlement, followed by resistance fighters determinedly breaking through a concrete barrier amidst gunfire. Meanwhile, other resistance fighters stealthily sneak through a metal fence into the settlement, passionately chanting “Allahu Akbar.” Soon after, clashes erupt in some of the settlement buildings.

Under a metal bridge, burnt military vehicles are starkly visible, with a resistor emphatically shouting, “Look at their Hummer.”

Furthermore, the footage unveils captured Israeli soldiers, nearly stripped, with their hands tied behind their heads in a clear sign of surrender. In another scene, resisters forcefully drag other Israeli forces near a concrete wall.

On the fateful morning of Saturday, October 7th, the Al-Qassam Brigades launched their “Al-Aqsa deluge” operation against Israel, firing thousands of rockets and aggressively storming settlements. Consequently, Israeli sources have reported a surge in casualties.

In retaliation, Israel swiftly initiated a military operation against the Gaza Strip, launching a series of airstrikes that tragically resulted in the injury and death of hundreds of Palestinians.

This unprecedented Hamas attack, occurring on a Jewish holiday morning, has undoubtedly shaken the Israeli occupation, leading to hundreds of deaths, and the capture of dozens of Israeli hostages, and raising serious concerns about a potential regional escalation.
