Watan – In a significant escalation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially declared a state of war in response to the “Al-Aqsa Deluge” operation initiated by the Al-Qassam Brigades. The operation, which began on Saturday, has resulted in the death of at least 700 Israelis, a number that continues to rise as the resistance intensifies its attacks. This unprecedented operation has seen Israel’s defense mechanisms challenged, with the Al-Qassam Brigades launching a series of strikes, including a massive barrage targeting key Israeli locations.

The Israeli media reported that this operation is unparalleled in its impact, with the death toll of Israeli soldiers and settlers reaching at least 700, while more than 2000 others have been injured. In contrast, the number of Palestinian martyrs due to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 413, including 78 children and 41 women. This marks the first time in history that the number of Israeli casualties has doubled the number of Palestinian martyrs.

In a related development, the Israeli cabinet has officially declared a state of war, attributing the decision to the deadly terrorist attack from the Gaza Strip that began on October 7, 2023, at 06:00. Reports also indicate that the number of Israeli prisoners and missing persons in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 100.

On the ground, the situation remains tense. The Al-Qassam Brigades continue their operations, with recent footage showing their control over the “Erez” site and the capture of Israeli soldiers and officers. The Israeli Air Force, in retaliation, has been launching severe airstrikes on homes in the Gaza Strip.
