Watan – In the latest developments on the Palestinian front, the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, emphasized that the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation represents an advanced stage in the liberation phases. They stressed that the resistance still has “many surprises” in store.
This statement was made by Hisham Qasim, a member of Hamas’s leadership abroad, during a recent announcement. He highlighted that the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, initiated this operation to halt the Israeli occupation’s ongoing crimes. He elaborated, “Because it cannot be allowed to continue, hence its unprecedented and unparalleled failure, surpassing its defeat in the October ’73 war.”
Hisham Qasim also pointed out that the recent resistance operation against the occupation demonstrated the failure of Israeli intelligence and the fragility of the occupying soldier. He added that the Al-Aqsa Storm operation raised the existential question about the future of the Israeli entity as it lost its alleged superiority point.
Regarding the damage inflicted on Hamas due to the Israeli occupation’s aggression, Hisham Qasim confirmed that the damage to the movement’s capabilities is limited. He stated, “As we amazed the world in the Al-Aqsa Storm, we will astonish them if the occupation proceeds with a ground invasion.”
The Israeli occupation army continued its bombardment of residential areas on the 13th day of its war on Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of thousands. This follows the massacre at the Al-Mamadani Hospital, which left nearly 500 martyrs and hundreds injured due to the brutal bombardment by the occupation, deliberately targeting Palestinian civilians.
