Watan – Activists on social media platforms have shown significant interaction with the hashtag “Boycott the UAE,” which has been trending for several days.
This is part of a campaign calling for a boycott of products from the Gulf state, which has normalized relations with Israel, in response to its shameful stance on the events in Gaza and its positions on the Palestinian issue in general.
The boycott campaign against the UAE and its products coincides with the apparent bias of UAE representatives in the Security Council, notably “Reem Al Hashemi” and “Lana Zaki Nusseibeh,” in favor of Israel.

The campaign also highlights the provocative statements made by UAE officials against Arab and Islamic nations, as well as the economic relations between Israel and the Gulf state, which normalized its relations with the occupation in 2020 under US sponsorship. The volume of trade between Israel and the UAE since the announcement of normalization has reached over a billion dirhams, a significant figure that has given Israel greater capabilities to finance settlement projects and plans to displace Palestinians.

Users on social media platforms have also showcased various products exported from the UAE through “Jebel Ali” that have been proven to be counterfeit and unfit for use. They also highlighted the crimes committed by the UAE in Yemen and Libya and its conspiracies to undermine the stability of Arab countries.
