Watan – In one of the most poignant scenes from the conflict in Gaza, activists on social media circulated a video of a Palestinian girl who miraculously survived under the rubble.
The young girl, with her head bandaged and lying in a hospital bed in Gaza, narrates a strange occurrence that happened to her at the moment that separated life from death. She spent more than four hours under the debris after her family’s home was destroyed in the sector.
The injured Palestinian child recounts a miracle that occurred with her, saying that an angel came to her and lit up the place until she heard the sound of rescuers who came to her location under the rubble. When she turned her face to see them, the “angel” was no longer visible.
The girl, only eight years old, revealed that the paramedics spent four hours to rescue her, and she innocently expressed her awe: “Subhanallah (Glory be to God), He sent me an angel, and his face was glowing,” and then she found herself in the hospital.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has counted 9,770 martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, confirming that 70% of the victims of the aggression are women and children.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated, “The Israeli occupation is practicing a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing for 30 days on the war in Gaza.”
He emphasized that the health system in the sector is facing critical hours, and the hospitals in the Gaza Strip are completely incapable of providing any health service.
