Watan-Extreme Minister Grants Tens of Thousands of Gun Permits to Settlers: Israeli Journalist Exposes Harsh Measures Against Palestinian Prisoners
Israeli journalist Hillel Rosen has revealed strict instructions issued by the extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Ghafir, to torment Palestinian prisoners in occupation prisons.
Rosen tweeted that Ben Ghafir has ordered the tightening of prison measures for Palestinian prisoners based on five rules.
These rules include placing five prisoners in each cell, restraining them with chains day and night, keeping their legs attached to each other, allowing them to leave the cell only for daytime showers.
These measures also involve sleeping on stone benches, water as the only basic food, and toilets as holes in the ground.

Itamar Ben Ghafir previously announced the issuance of tens of thousands of gun permits to settlers under the slogan “Israel Arms Itself.”
Ben Ghafir stated, “The firearms department has received hundreds of thousands of requests for personal weapon licenses, and we have granted tens of thousands of conditional permits (conditions not specified) and actual licenses for personal weapons to eligible citizens.”
Ben Ghafir claimed that the goal of distributing weapons is “to protect Israelis from attacks.”
In recent weeks, Ben Ghafir has posted photos and videos of himself distributing machine guns to Israelis in the north, south, and the West Bank.
Fears of Armed Attacks by Settlers
Palestinians fear that Israel‘s policy of arming settlers may lead to killings under the pretext of “preventing attacks.”
Incidents of Israeli forces and settlers assaulting Palestinians in the West Bank have increased since the outbreak of the Al-Aqsa Intifada on October 7th, resulting in the martyrdom of over 160 Palestinians.”
