Social media activists have circulated a video featuring a Palestinian mother walking for more than 5 continuous hours, pulling her children on foot as they evacuate from the north to the south in search of a secure place amidst the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, now in its 35th day.

The video, widely shared on social media platforms, depicts the exhausted Palestinian mother pulling her children along Salah al-Din Street, heading south after the Israeli occupation forces ordered them to evacuate from the north, threatening to bomb them if they did not comply.

Thousands of citizens have evacuated from the northern areas and the city of Gaza towards the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This comes after the Israeli occupation forces requested citizens to evacuate the area, threatening to target them if they did not leave. The evacuation route involves walking on foot along Salah al-Din Road, which separates the north and the city of Gaza from the southern part of the region.

Gaza Strip has been facing a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7th. This followed the heroic operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance in all settlements established on the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 and along the border with the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation committed over 1,130 massacres against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, through the bombardment of residential neighborhoods, Palestinian refugee camps, hospitals, mosques, and schools without prior warning, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of martyrs.

According to the latest statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 11,000 Palestinians have been martyred, the majority of whom were civilians, and over 27,000 have been wounded with various injuries. Additionally, two thousand are still missing, presumed buried under the rubble of destroyed homes due to the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza up to the present day.
