Julia was deprived of her parents by the occupation during an Israeli airstrike on their home in Gaza

Watan-In one of the tragic scenes of the war unfolding in Gaza, activists shared a video of a Palestinian girl separated from her parents by the Israeli occupation. Her parents had been martyred during an Israeli airstrike on their besieged home in the region.

The innocent four-year-old girl, Julia, with scratches on her face and forehead, appeared in a state of fear and bewilderment. Tearfully, she uttered, “They bombed me,” and remained silent afterward while someone attempted to console and comfort her.

In a subsequent scene, the same person was seen carrying her and saying, “Are you scared of the sound of the rocket?”

The orphaned child looked up, hearing the person addressing her, as he said, “I’ll take you to ‘Joud,’ my son, so you can play with him.”

The brutal aggression by the occupying forces on Gaza continues.

On Sunday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced an increase in the number of Palestinian martyrs and casualties due to the relentless and brutal Israeli aggression since October 7th on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

In a preliminary report, the ministry stated that 11,025 martyrs have fallen in the Gaza Strip, with over 27,000 injured. In the West Bank, 183 martyrs have been reported, and the number of wounded has risen to approximately 2,500.

Among the martyrs are 4,506 children, 3,027 women, and 678 elderly individuals. The number of missing persons is around 2,700 citizens, including over 1,500 children, constituting 74% of the martyrs.

Human rights organizations have warned of the impact of the war in Gaza on the children of the region, who make up about half of Gaza’s population. Most of them have only experienced life under siege and repeated wars with Israel.

Earlier, the “Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights” stated that the martyrdom of Palestinian children and infants due to Israeli airstrikes on the besieged enclave has reached an unprecedented rate in the history of wars, as Israel targets buildings and residential areas.
