Israeli Occupation’s False Claims Amidst Humanitarian Crisis.. Aid Myth Exposes the Barbarity of the Occupation Forces
Watan-The Israeli occupation army persists in its psychological war, characterized by the dissemination of numerous falsehoods regarding the devastating conflict it is waging in the Gaza Strip.
One of the latest fabrications by the Israeli forces involves the promotion, through their account on the X platform, of alleged efforts to facilitate the entry of aid into Gaza. This comes amid a growing chorus of condemnations against the comprehensive blockade imposed on the region.
The occupation army claimed to be actively working to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance to civilians in the Gaza Strip. They disseminated recorded statements by Shani Sasson, the spokesperson for the Government Coordination Unit, to promote these assertions.
The Israeli spokesperson asserted that they provided aid to Gaza, including three thousand tons of food, seventeen hundred tons of medicine, and one million liters of fresh water, all by the eighth of November.
Israeli Occupation engages in deceptive practices
However, the statements by the occupying army are false, and the amount of aid entering the sector is meager and insufficient to meet the humanitarian needs there, according to the Ikad platform, which refuted the occupation’s claims.

The population of the Gaza Strip is 2.23 million people, and with the alleged aid being divided among the number of residents and distributed evenly at three thousand tons, the share per individual would be 1.345 grams. Thus, the individual’s share during the days of war would be less than 40 grams.
Regarding water, the per-person share would be 448 milliliters.
And regarding the volume of this aid, Zuhair Zaqout, the spokesperson for the Red Cross in Gaza, stated that the trucks that have entered in the past month do not equal what used to enter in one day before the war.
In turn, the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory stated that the aid that has entered only amounts to 2% of the needs of the citizens in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Sandy MacKay, stated that Gaza is on the brink of famine.
