Wife of Israeli President Confirms Loss of Contact with Their Son Inside Gaza
Watan-Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s wife, Michal Herzog, revealed on Monday the loss of contact with their son, who is currently engaged in combat within the Gaza Strip. This comes in conjunction with significant losses suffered by the Israeli ground forces advancing into the besieged territory.
Michal Herzog, speaking to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) as reported by the Hebrew site “timesofisrael,” stated that one of their sons is among the Israeli soldiers who have been called to fight in Gaza.
She continued to the same source: “We haven’t had any contact with him for some time, but we remain hopeful.

And while the wife of the Israeli President did not mention whether any of their three sons are present in Gaza, she added, ‘I believe that, for all mothers and women in general, these days are challenging.'”

40 Israeli Casualties Since the Start of the Ground Incursion
The Israeli military announced the death of over 40 of its soldiers inside Gaza since the beginning of its ground operations within the sector weeks ago.
Haim Herzog, the father of Israeli President Isaac Herzog, served as a general in the Israeli military and was the sixth president of the Israeli state. Michael Herzog, Isaac Herzog’s brother, currently holds the position of the Israeli ambassador to the United States, as reported by clevelandjewishnews.
On Monday, the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that they destroyed 10 Israeli military vehicles in battles west of Gaza City. They clarified that an Israeli armored personnel carrier was completely destroyed by a ‘Yassin 105’ shell and subsequently caught fire. The Al-Qassam Brigades also targeted four military vehicles in the northwestern axis of Gaza with ‘Yassin 105’ shells.
The brigades additionally targeted five Israeli tanks in the western part of the Gaza Strip with ‘Yassin 105’ shells and a ‘Tandem’ shell. They confirmed conducting mortar shelling against the Israeli forces advancing in western Gaza and east of Juhor ad-Dik with mortar shells.
