Watan-The Palestinian Telecommunications Group urgently reported on Thursday a complete cessation of communication and internet services in the Gaza Strip.
In a related statement, the “Net Blocks” group noted a significant internet disruption in the Gaza Strip.
The occupation cuts off communications and the internet in Gaza
A correspondent for Al Jazeera confirmed difficulties in communication and internet networks across all provinces in the Gaza Strip. He also highlighted the disruption of communication with individuals in the “Shifa Complex” following reports of the Israeli occupation forces entering hospital departments.
In previous statements just hours ago, Dr. Mohammed Abu Salameh, the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, stated, “Those threatened and besieged in the hospital are now facing annihilation, and many patients are still dying in their homes with no one inquiring about them.”
Additionally, the Commissioner-General of UNRWA reiterated his call for a ceasefire if there is a willingness to save what can be saved in Gaza.
He stated, “It is regrettable that a UN organization resorts to begging for fuel, as our agency is currently doing.”
He continued, “70% of the population in the southern Gaza Strip cannot access clean water.”
