Palestinian Girl Bids Farewell to Her Martyred Father in Gaza

Watan-A Palestinian girl bid farewell to her father, who became a martyr during the continuous Israeli occupation forces’ shelling on the Gaza Strip for the 40th consecutive day.

In a heartbreaking scene captured in a circulated video, the young Palestinian girl, no older than 8 years, kissed her father’s head as he was laid to rest, tears streaming down her face. She uttered, ‘Goodbye, Papa,’ marking a poignant moment amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

“Goodbye, Papa.”

The Israeli occupation has committed over 1,138 massacres against Palestinian civilians in various locations across the Gaza Strip. Among these horrific massacres are the Al-Mashtalani Hospital massacre, as well as those in Jabalia Camp, Al-Maghazi, Al-Bureij, Al-Shati, and the schools that shelter displaced individuals.

Thousands of Palestinian martyrs, including children, women, and the elderly, have fallen victim to the ongoing massacres carried out by the Israeli occupation in its war on the Gaza Strip.

The Massacres by the Occupation Against Civilians in Gaza

In the early hours of Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Dar Al-Shifa Medical Complex, the largest health and service facility in Palestine. This came as part of their brutal campaign since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, involving the arrest of refugees and patients, as well as the search, inspection, and detonation of several buildings within the complex.

The toll of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, according to preliminary statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, has surpassed 12,000 Palestinian martyrs, the majority of whom are civilians. Additionally, nearly 29,000 individuals have sustained various injuries. Thousands remain unaccounted for, buried under the rubble of destroyed homes.
