In a related context, Stéphane Dujarric, the spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, expressed deep concern about the new operations by the Israeli occupation army in southern Gaza and their impact on civilians.
While highlighting that there is no safe place in Gaza, another UN source affirmed that Israel’s proposal to establish a safe zone in the south of the Gaza Strip cannot be endorsed.
