Watan-Media sources close to the Hamas movement announced that the journalist “Jamal Mohammed Haniyeh,” the eldest grandson of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the movement, was martyred along with his daughter in an airstrike carried out by the occupation forces on Tuesday. The attack resulted in dozens of martyrs and injuries.

This comes about two weeks after the martyrdom of the younger granddaughter of Ismail Haniyeh, the student “Rawaa Hamam,” in a similar airstrike on her family’s home in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media outlets have clarified that the eldest grandson of the head of the political bureau of Hamas was martyred along with his daughter.

The Israeli aggression on Gaza has continued for the 46th day, with ongoing airstrikes targeting hospitals, schools, and refugee camps, resulting in more casualties and injuries. Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance forces are engaged in clashes on several fronts in Gaza City and the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced early Tuesday that the movement is “close to reaching an agreement” on a ceasefire with Israel.

For the past month and a half, the Israeli army has been waging a destructive war on Gaza, resulting in over 13,000 martyrs, nearly half of whom are children, in addition to over 30,000 injuries, mostly among children and women, according to statistics from the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
