Unveiling the True Toll: Israeli Casualties in Gaza War Exceed Official Figures

Watan-A report by the “Arabi Post,” based on data from a local Israeli organization, has confirmed that the number of casualties and injuries among the Israeli occupation forces in the war on Gaza since the beginning of the “Operation Al-Aqsa Dulge” is much higher than officially announced.

Since October 7th of last year, more than 1,300 Israelis have been killed, and large numbers have been captured, according to official Israeli figures. Palestinian resistance claims to have inflicted human losses on the occupation far exceeding the numbers officially declared.

Israel conceals the true figures of its losses

According to the report, data was tracked from the organization “Brothers for Life,” an institution established by former warriors for the occupation. Its mission is to assist the injured and wounded soldiers of the occupation. Since October 7th, the organization has activated an emergency protocol.

The mentioned organization announced on its website that it has received 400 wounded individuals during the first month of the conflict and has information about the injuries of 800 others.

The organization anticipates that the number of injured Israeli soldiers it will deal with could reach two thousand, although it hasn’t clarified whether this expectation is based on interviews conducted by its teams to collect data on the wounded soldiers.

By monitoring the videos published, it appears that the organization provides treatment to members of the “Nahal” Brigade and the “Israeli Paratroopers Battalion.”

A video published by the organization on November 5, 2023, shows the flag of the “Israeli Paratroopers Brigade” inside one of the hospital rooms treating soldiers wounded during the war on Gaza. Additionally, military uniforms are seen in another room in the hospital, along with the flag of Israel.

According to the organization, it has raised 15 million US dollars from the emergency campaign to urgently expand the scope of “Brothers for Life” programs, aiming to accommodate more than two thousand injured Israeli soldiers.

The source added that the latest update for these data was on November 9th, suggesting that the numbers and figures may have significantly increased with Israeli occupation forces attempting to advance into northern Gaza.

Significant losses for the occupation army at the hands of the resistance in Gaza

In October of last year, the Israeli army announced the death of the commander of the Nahal Brigade, Yonatan Steinberg, during clashes with Palestinian resistance at the Gaza border.

At that time, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, Daniel Hgari, stated on his “X” platform account: “Permission to publish that the commander of the Nahal Brigade, Major Yonatan Steinberg, was killed (Saturday) in a confrontation with an armed individual near the Kerem Shalom crossing.”

On Monday, Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, stated that their fighters had destroyed 60 Israeli military vehicles, including 10 armored personnel carriers, in the past 72 hours.

Abu Obeida suggested in a recorded statement that circulated through the media that Israel had bombed its own forces on the ground, thinking that some of its soldiers had been captured.

He pointed out that the clashes are still intense with the occupation army on several fronts in the Gaza Strip, noting that Al-Qassam members “carried out several qualitative operations against the enemy and caused a number of soldiers to be killed or injured.
