Watan-The Turkish website “Sabah” has unveiled gripping details of an intelligence operation carried out by Turkish authorities in Malaysia, leading to the liberation of a Palestinian programmer from the clutches of Mossad. The programmer gained fame for successfully breaching Israel’s Iron Dome system in 2016, prompting relentless efforts by Israel to apprehend him through its operatives.
According to a report translated by (Watan) from “Sabah,” the Turkish intelligence agency successfully rescued 32-year-old Omar Z. M., who had been kidnapped and severely tortured by Israeli Mossad agents in Malaysia.
In a collaborative effort between Turkish intelligence and Malaysian Special Operations units, Omar was rescued, and 11 individuals involved in the abduction, including Mossad agent Fuad Osama Hajazi, were apprehended by local authorities.
Rescuing the Palestinian Programmer from Mossad: A Tale of Deception and Intelligence
The story unfolds when a Mossad operative, named “Raed Ghazal,” attempted to contact Omar via WhatsApp, falsely claiming to represent the French company Think Hire. Raed endeavored to recruit Omar to work for this supposed company.
The two met face-to-face, and Raed Ghazal, along with another Mossad agent, Omar Shelbi, attempted to abduct the Palestinian engineer, planning to transport him to Israel. They offered him $10,000 to write a program, and the French company transferred the amount through Mossad agent John Foster.
The task of kidnapping Omar Z.M.A. then shifted to another agent named Nicolas Radonié. He met Omar in Istanbul, offering him a salary of $5,200 if he worked from Turkey and $20,000 if he agreed to relocate to Brazil and work from there.
The Turkish intelligence stepped in after monitoring these communications, especially when Mossad agents claimed to have connections with Turkish immigration and promised to assist Omar legally in leaving Turkey.
Breaking the Iron Dome
Omar had successfully breached the Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system in 2015 and 2016, working in favor of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian group Hamas.
Since then, Omar has remained under the radar of the Mossad, which attempted to locate and recruit him through various means.
In 2022, Omar decided to travel to Malaysia for a vacation, but the Turkish intelligence, fearing his potential abduction, implanted a tracking chip in his mobile phone as a precaution.
While in Kuala Lumpur, Omar was indeed abducted and taken to a location far from the capital, where he endured torture and interrogation at the hands of Mossad agents.
The newspaper noted that the Mossad team subjected Omar to severe torture and questioned him for 36 hours through a video call.
During the interrogation, Mossad directors from Tel Aviv sought to understand how the Palestinian computer programmer managed to breach the Iron Dome, the encryption language employed, and how they could disable the system and the program that infiltrates mobile phones used by public officials and Israeli soldiers.
The Mossad also questioned whether there were other computer engineers, software engineers, and computer programmers engaging in cyber warfare with him in Istanbul.
Through the implanted chip, Turkish intelligence was able to determine Omar’s location and coordinated with special Malaysian units to rescue him, successfully executing the operation.
The newspaper reported, “As soon as the Turkish intelligence learned of the kidnapping incident, they sent the location of the Palestinian youth to their counterparts in Malaysia, emphasizing the urgency of the matter.”
Indeed, “after hours, Malaysian special operations teams carried out a surprise attack, rescuing the Palestinian youth alive, and the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court issued arrest warrants for 11 individuals who abducted and interrogated Omar.”
Omar (full name omitted) returned to Turkey, and Turkish intelligence provided him with a secure residence away from the eyes of Israeli intelligence, as reported by the Turkish website “Sabah.”
