UAE Accused of Backing Gaza Displacement Plan Through Arab League Channels

Diplomatic Sources Reveal UAE-Led Pressure Campaign Using Egypt to Enforce Ethnic Cleansing Agenda in Gaza.

Watan-Diplomatic sources have revealed that the UAE regime is actively working to support the displacement of Gaza’s residents and impose ethnic cleansing against Palestinians, using Egypt as a diplomatic tool to achieve this goal.

The sources stated that the UAE is leading a coordinated campaign to enforce former U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to displace Gaza’s population through the Arab League, despite public Arab opposition to the displacement plan and the removal of Gaza’s residents from their land.

According to the sources, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aaty is now at the forefront of a new and dangerous diplomatic campaign backed by the UAE, aimed at enforcing Trump’s ethnic cleansing agenda in Gaza.

UAE Pressures Arab Capitals to Back Gaza Displacement Plan

They noted that Abdel Aaty’s tour across Arab capitals—including Algiers and Tunis—to discuss Gaza’s future is being carried out under direct pressure from the UAE, which is using Cairo as a means to legitimize the displacement plan and the establishment of a so-called “Riviera” in the war-torn Strip.

The sources added that the UAE is leveraging Egypt to pressure numerous Arab countries into abandoning their previous stances and supporting a new Israeli-aligned roadmap for Gaza. This plan includes disarming the Palestinian resistance, installing the Palestinian Authority in Gaza under Emirati-Israeli oversight, and approving a reconstruction plan that favors normalization.

It was also reported that the UAE used financial and political pressure on the Egyptian authorities, compelling them to carry Trump’s message in exchange for economic lifelines and diplomatic support. The message was clear: “Push Arab countries to back our plan for Gaza—or face consequences.”

The tour by Abdel Aaty specifically targets Algeria and Tunisia, as both nations reject normalization with Israel, defend Palestinian resistance, and oppose any Arab complicity in forced displacement. The aim is to silence their opposition and co-opt them into a joint statement that prioritizes submission over Palestinian sovereignty. So far, both countries have held firm to their positions, but the Emirati-Egyptian mechanism is intensifying pressure.

The sources revealed that the core of the conspiracy centers on disarming the resistance in Gaza and using the Palestinian Authority as a puppet to lead the post-war phase, with full Israeli oversight over security.

They stressed that the UAE’s campaign violates the foundational principles of the Arab League, which are based on supporting the right of return for Palestinian refugees, rejecting normalization without resolving the Palestinian cause, and backing resistance under occupation.

According to the sources, Abdel Aaty’s mission—driven by the UAE—is to dismantle decades of collective Arab consensus in favor of the American-Israeli project to displace Gaza’s population.

The sources affirmed that the UAE’s plan constitutes a flagrant violation of United Nations resolutions concerning the Palestinian right to self-determination, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and the principles of the International Court of Justice opposing the forced displacement of Palestinian civilians.

Previously, Le Monde newspaper highlighted the UAE’s deliberate efforts to break the Arab front opposing Trump’s plan to forcibly relocate Gaza’s residents to neighboring countries.

The paper noted that “a discordant tone has emerged from the UAE within the united Arab front rejecting Trump’s plan to forcibly displace two million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.”

It added that when asked whether there was an alternative Arab proposal to Trump’s plan for Gaza, Yousef Al Otaiba—the influential UAE ambassador to Washington who has held the position since 2008—expressed doubts.

The Abu Dhabi ambassador in Washington stated that he sees “no alternative” to the plan proposed by the U.S. president to expel Palestinians from Gaza.

Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai, he said: “I don’t see an alternative to what’s being proposed. I really don’t see anything else. So if anyone has an alternative, we’re happy to discuss it and explore it, but nothing has come to the surface yet.”

He added that Abu Dhabi would “try” to find common ground with the Trump administration. “I think the current approach will be difficult. But ultimately, we’re all in the business of finding solutions. We just don’t know where it will end up,” he said.
