Yahya Sinwar Meets Israeli Detainees
According to the report, one of the detainees who recently returned as part of the exchange deal recounted to her family that she met with Yahya Sinwar in the early days of the war.
According to her account, he greeted the detainees in the tunnel, saying, “Hello, I am Yahya Sinwar. You are the most protected here. Nothing will happen to you.”
The report mentioned that the story has been verified by officials who investigated the capture operation.
It is known that Yahya Sinwar speaks Hebrew fluently, a language he learned during his time in Israeli prisons.
Sinwar, released in the Shalit deal, is considered the oldest among the group of prisoners who returned to Gaza in 2011.
