Remnants of belongings to Israeli soldiers after the battles in Gaza

Watan-Al Jazeera Channel broadcasted video footage showing remnants of belongings to Israeli soldiers after intense battles with the resistance in the city of Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip. Its fighters confronted the occupation forces and inflicted significant losses in personnel and equipment despite the significant disparity in capabilities between the two sides.

The widely circulated video clip reveals numerous helmets, bullet belts, and equipment belonging to the occupying soldiers, as well as remnants of military uniforms believed to belong to Israeli soldiers who were killed.

Evidence of torn uniforms is visible, a result of clashes with resistance fighters, with some stained with blood. The ground appears as if it has been struck by an earthquake.

The accompanying commentary in the video mentions that these belongings were discovered inside a house while the militants were patrolling in extremist areas of Beit Hanoun.

The narrator points to an ammunition store with Hebrew writing and a damaged helmet beside it, saying, ‘Notice what the resistance accomplished with the booby trap set by this soldier – imagine what it did to his head.’

In another scene, a metal identification plate belonging to an Israeli officer is visible.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army announced the names of three of its soldiers who were killed on October 7, noting that their bodies are held by the Hamas movement in Gaza.

The spokesperson for the Qassam Brigades announced that Israeli forces breached the ceasefire in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, prompting the Qassam members to appropriately respond to this violation.

The Qassam Brigades affirmed their commitment to the ceasefire despite the Israeli breach, as part of the ceasefire extension, stating that their fighters successfully dealt with the Israeli breach in the northern Gaza Strip today.

In their statement, the Qassam Brigades said, “On our part, we are committed to the ceasefire as long as the enemy adheres to it. We call on the mediators to pressure the occupation to comply with all the terms of the ceasefire on the ground and in the air.”
