Watan-The Israeli war on Gaza has separated a current resident of the region, a young girl, from her mother who had traveled to the West Bank for medical treatment and has been unable to return.

In a televised interview with Al Jazeera, the Palestinian girl addressed her mother, tearfully saying, ‘Where are you, Mama?’ Her emotional breakdown underscored the sorrow of their separation caused by the conflict.”

eassured her mother through a message that she is in good condition amid the Israeli war on the region.

When asked by the channel’s correspondent if she wanted to say anything to her mother, she repeated the question, saying, ‘Where are you, Mama?’ Then she expressed, ‘I love you.’

It appears that this message reached the mother of the girl who expressed gratitude to Al Jazeera. An account under the name ‘Um Wala Halas’ responded: ‘Oh my heart, my soul, Mama loves you all, my dear hearts. I miss you so much. Thank you for reassuring me about my daughters—my beloved Wala, Najat, and Hiba. I pray to see you all in good health and safety, my dear.’

The humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza has been ongoing since November 24th, facilitated by Qatar and Egypt. Initially lasting four days, it was extended for an additional two days last Monday and further extended for one more day early Thursday.

The humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza includes a temporary cessation of hostilities, a prisoner exchange, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip.

The sixth installment of the prisoner exchange between Palestinian resistance groups and Israel took place on Wednesday evening. It involved the release of 30 Palestinian prisoners (16 children and 14 women) by the Israeli authorities, following the resistance’s release of 10 Israeli detainees, and 4 Thai and 2 Russian nationals, who were released outside the agreement.”
