In response to the heinous attack that claimed the lives of three Israelis in Jerusalem, two Palestinian brothers carried out a shooting in the city, resulting in the death of three Israelis and the injury of six others.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack involved a combination of vehicular assault and gunfire, with the assailants originating from East Jerusalem.
Among the casualties in the Jerusalem shooting today, Rabbi Elimelech Wagschal, the dean of the rabbinical court in Ashdod, was reported as one of the victims.
Israeli media reported that the attackers were former prisoners affiliated with the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, hailing from the village of Sur Baher south of Jerusalem.
