Watan-A prominent Saudi statesman, through his widely-followed social media account, has disclosed a purported role played by the Kingdom in collaboration with Israel to eliminate the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas.
According to the influential account’s tweet on the “X” platform, three high-ranking officers of the Israeli Mossad visited Saudi Arabia last Saturday. They were reportedly received by the Crown Prince and de facto ruler of the Kingdom, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in Neom.
“Statesman” added that bin Salman engaged in a continuous five-hour meeting with the Israeli officers, discussing ways to eradicate the Hamas movement and transfer governance of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority.
As of the writing of these lines, there has been no official response from the Saudi authorities regarding this tweet.
Arab Leaders Urged Netanyahu for Swift Action Against Hamas
Introduction: It has been reported that several Arab leaders have called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to expedite the resolution of the Hamas issue. Notably, Netanyahu previously revealed that more than one Arab leader had urged him to swiftly deal with the Hamas movement, without disclosing their identities.
The Saudi stance towards the brutal Israeli military campaign in Gaza, ongoing for nearly two months, has sparked considerable anger and controversy.
Reports have previously revealed that the Saudi Royal Court has launched a systematic incitement campaign against the Palestinian resistance, characterized by relentless warfare and dishonorable opposition that began with defamation and concluded with accusations of extremism.
As the Battle of the Aqsa Storm commenced on October 7th of last year, the Royal Court chose to stand against Gaza and its resistance. It instructed its media apparatus to intensify attacks on the resistance in an attempt to demonize and tarnish its reputation.
Escalating Attacks in Response to Resistance Successes
The intensity and malice of these attacks increased with the successive successes of the resistance and the growing global support for their cause.
Saudi Demonization Tactics Against the Resistance
According to a report from the Saudi Leaks website, the Royal Court’s media apparatus employed various tactics in its war against Gaza and its resistance. This included accusing the resistance of terrorism and labeling its October 7th attacks to liberate illegally seized settlements as brutal and aggressive.
The report, referring to the Royal Court’s media apparatus as the “fly,” also accused the resistance of killing a German tourist and falsely portraying her as a victim of rape. In reality, the young woman held an Israeli passport and was unharmed, but the objective was to tarnish the image of the resistance in the eyes of the international community.
The “fly” launched a campaign accusing the resistance of hiding among civilians, adopting the occupation’s narrative. Later, these narratives were debunked with evidence showing that hospitals were not infiltrated by the resistance, affirming the absence of any presence of the resistance and its weapons in civilian buildings.
