Israeli Occupation Faces Significant Losses in Gaza Battles: Names of Fallen Officers Disclosed

Watan-The Hebrew website “Walla” revealed on Monday, October 4th, the approval of the Israeli occupation leadership to disclose the names of three Israeli officers who fell in the battles in the Gaza Strip, as part of the significant losses that Israel is facing at the hands of Palestinian resistance factions.

With this disclosure, the number of Israeli occupation casualties since the beginning of the war rises to 401. According to reports from the battlefield, a soldier from Battalion 601 in Brigade 401 was seriously wounded in the battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Hebrew website “Walla” published photos of the mentioned casualties, while battles in northern Gaza indicate that the occupation’s claims of advancement are unfounded, and the resistance continues to maintain control over most of the Palestinian territory.

Qatari channel “Al Jazeera” also reported on other officers killed in the Gaza battles, including Colonel Asaf Hamami, the commander of the Southern Brigade in the Gaza Division, and Colonel Yonatan Steinberg, the commander of the Nahal Brigade, who was killed in a firefight near Karam Abu Salam.

Significant losses for the occupation forces

Colonel Yosef Levi, the commander of the Multidimensional Unit, also met his demise at the Raheem military base, the headquarters of the Gaza Division, during its assault by the Al-Qassam Brigades.

Among the casualties of the occupation is Colonel Leon Bar, a senior officer in the Internal Oversight Unit of the Israeli army and one of the leaders of the army in the West Bank brigades.
