Watan-The Palestinian resistance continued its successes in inflicting casualties on the Israeli occupation forces during the intense battles in Gaza.

In a significant blow to the occupation forces, Major Yehuda Yagur Hirschberg, the commander of the Israeli Prisoners’ Search Unit, was killed in the ground battles.

Initially, the occupation forces attempted to conceal the truth about the death of Major Yehuda Yagur Hirschberg in Gaza. However, they later provided a purported narrative, claiming that Hirschberg was killed in an incident on a military road.

Among the losses suffered by the occupation forces, Sergeant First Class Yonatan Malca, an armored fighter in the 82nd Battalion of the Seventh Brigade, was also killed during battles in the Gaza Strip.

Highest Daily Toll Announced for Israeli Occupation Forces Casualties

On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces declared the killing of seven of its personnel in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip, including five officers. This marks the highest toll announced by the Israeli military in a single day since the start of the ground operation.

Consequently, nine Israeli soldiers have been reported killed in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours. It’s worth noting that the accuracy of the Israeli-reported figures is doubted, with Palestinian resistance asserting that the actual human losses among the occupation forces are several times higher than officially declared.

With the rising death toll among the Israeli military, Hebrew media outlets have mentioned that the majority of the soldiers were killed due to exposure to anti-tank projectiles.

The military affairs correspondent for Channel 13, Or Heller, stated that Israeli soldiers were killed by these projectiles despite the presence of the “Iron Dome,” which is supposed to be an anti-missile system, including anti-tank missiles.
