Watan-Yemeni journalist Anis Mansour has revealed shocking information about the incident involving the crash of the Saudi military aircraft, which was announced two days ago and sparked widespread controversy.

Mansour stated in a series of tweets on his “X” platform account that the Saudi aircraft was brought down by friendly fire, refuting the inaccurate reports claiming that it was downed by the Yemeni Houthi group (Ansar Allah).

And he added, “The matter is within the internal conflict of the Saudi family and is an internal affair that does not concern us. Last Wednesday, they prevented a prince from traveling, and he returned from the airport. What Mohammed bin Salman is doing in combating corruption, disciplining some princes, and addressing corruption issues specific to them, let’s focus on the Gaza issue, as it shapes the map and forms a new reality.”

Anis Mansour continued, “There are internal family problems; this is an internal matter. There are princes who have been liquidated, princes who have been imprisoned, princes prohibited from traveling, princes under surveillance and espionage—all family matters that should not preoccupy us.”

He pointed out that there is a conflict he described as “protecting the molars” within the royal family in Saudi Arabia, and that wings and lobbies are forming within the kingdom. In addition, there is a presence of an Emirati lobby penetrating the Saudi system, involving issues of blackmail. He described the situation in the kingdom as uneasy.

Anis Mansour added, “The Saudi flies descended with their comments as usual, the same rhetoric and the same images, something that is disgusting in terms of where they have reached. A question arises, oh flies, the repeated falling of military aircraft with princes in Saudi Arabia, are these assassination operations or incidental accidents or settling of scores? Answer the question!”

The Saudi propagandists inundated with comments, as is their usual practice, employing the same rhetoric and images—a spectacle that elicits disgust. One wonders, to what depths have they sunk?

The announcement of the crash of a Saudi fighter jet

On Thursday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the crash of an “F15-SE” fighter jet, claiming that the incident occurred during a routine training mission in the Eastern Region, resulting in the death of its crew.

Turki Al-Maliki, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, stated in a press release that the plane crashed at (12:50) on Thursday while conducting a routine training mission at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran.

According to the statement, an investigation committee has been tasked with determining the details of the incident that led to the death of the aircrew.

While the Defense Ministry’s statement did not mention the names of the incident’s casualties, the hashtag for Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz trended on the “X” platform in Saudi Arabia.

Many activists expressed condolences for Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, stating that he was one of the casualties of the plane crash. Saudi princes, including Prince Abdulrahman bin Mosaad, also mourned his passing.
