Watan-In confirmation of the significant role played by the UAE in supporting the occupying entity, despite the public and formal statements about Abu Dhabi’s support for the Palestinian cause, the Israeli website “Walla” confirmed in a report the arrival of 10 trucks to Israel through the new land bridge connecting Dubai port to Tel Aviv via Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
The Israeli website reported the arrival of the first batch of commercial shipments loaded with fresh food from Dubai to the occupying state through the new land bridge, an alternative to the Red Sea, passing through Dubai ports, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. The length of the alternative land bridge is 2,000 kilometers, and the journey takes about two days.
A land bridge for transporting goods to the Zionist entity
The new land bridge, according to a report by “Walla,” is distinguished by its speed compared to the passage through the Suez Canal, which takes 10 days. At the same time, the bridge serves as an alternative to bypassing the maritime route around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which takes about a month due to the Houthi threat.
Although land transportation is usually more expensive than maritime transportation, the new land bridge is expected to be more cost-effective. Companies in Dubai and India can also benefit from the bridge to shorten the transportation time of their products to Europe through the ports of Haifa and the Gulf, according to the “Walla” report.
It is worth noting that this land route for transportation to Israel was established after the Houthi rebels in Yemen blocked commercial ships from reaching the port of Eilat via the Red Sea.
The UAE funds Israel’s war on Gaza
The international site “thecradle” published a report on how the United Arab Emirates and other Arab normalization regimes finance Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, including the horrific massacres against Palestinian civilians.
The site highlighted that the UAE and other Arab countries that normalized relations with Tel Aviv are among the major contributors financially to the Israeli military-industrial complex.
According to the site, these Arab billions are now flowing into the reckless war waged by the occupation state against Palestinians in Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank. The report revealed that it is not only Western countries that support Israeli military capabilities today, but a significant portion of funding for the Israeli military industry now comes from Arab countries that recently normalized relations with the occupying state.
In 2022, two years after the Abraham Accords mediated by the United States, which led to the normalization of relations between Israel on one side and the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan on the other side, the Israeli defense industry witnessed an unprecedented surge in exports, totaling $12.5 billion—a record number since World War II and the establishment of the occupation state 75 years ago.
