Watan-The Houthi group in Yemen revealed the presence of mediation by the Sultanate of Oman regarding communication and discussions with several international parties concerning the group’s operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
In this context, the official spokesperson for the Houthis, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, confirmed that ongoing communication with international parties regarding the operations of the armed forces affiliated with the group in the Red Sea. He emphasized that Yemen’s stance on Gaza is steadfast and not subject to any compromise.

The operations of the Houthi group in the Red Sea and Oman’s mediation
In a statement by the spokesperson for the Houthi group, published on their official “X” account and monitored by (Watan), it was stated: “Under the sponsorship of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman, communication and discussions continue with a number of international parties regarding operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.”
The statement continued: “We have affirmed to everyone that Yemen’s operations are in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and we cannot stand idly by in the face of the aggression and siege the sector is facing, where there is no food, no medicine, and even the drinking water that the enemy entity has cut off.”
Mohammed Abdul-Salam emphasized that “in various meetings, it has been confirmed that Yemen’s stance with Gaza is not subject to bargaining, and the enemy’s ships or those heading to its ports will remain vulnerable to targeting until the aggression stops, the siege on Gaza is lifted, and humanitarian aid continues to flow continuously to the sector.”

Houthi Operations Against Targets in Israel
On Saturday, the Houthi group announced that it had launched a large batch of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) targeting what they referred to as “sensitive targets” in Eilat, southern Israel.
The official spokesperson for the Houthi-affiliated armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, stated in a released statement: “The Yemeni Armed Forces’ Air Force, through the use of a large batch of drones, carried out a military operation against sensitive targets in the area of Um Al-Rashrash in southern Palestine, which is occupied.”
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, in the statement issued by the military forces loyal to the Houthis in Sanaa, added that “the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm the continuation of their military operations against the Zionist entity until it ceases its aggression against our steadfast brothers in the Gaza Strip,” according to his statement.
The statement from the spokesperson for the Houthi-affiliated forces indicated that launching the strikes on southern Israel is “a victory for the injustice suffered by the Palestinian people who are currently facing killing, destruction, and siege in the Gaza Strip, and a response to the calls of the free people from the sons of our great Yemeni people and the sons of our nation.”
