Defeating the Invincible: Al-Qassam Brigades’ Yasin 105 Shells Take Down Israeli Merkava Tank
The Al-Qassam Brigades detonated an Israeli tank with Yasin 105 shells.

Watan-The military media affiliated with the Al-Qassam Brigades presented a new video on Sunday, targeting an Israeli tank of the “Merkava” type with “Yasin 105” shells from an extremely close range.

In a statement released by the Palestinian Al-Qassam Brigades, it stated: “The Al-Qassam Brigades destroy a Zionist tank of the Merkava type with ‘Yasin 105’ shells south-east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The video, released by the military media of the Al-Qassam Brigades, shows the latest and most expensive tank in the world standing on a road, marked with the inverted red triangle – a well-known symbol and a registered trademark under the name of Al-Qassam – as it is being monitored.

After the launch of the Yasin 105 shell, the Merkava tank transforms into a mass of smoke and flames amidst cheers of Takbir from one of the resistance fighters.

The footage reveals thick columns of smoke rising from the tank after the strike.

It is worth noting that the Israeli Merkava 4 tank is equipped with an active protection system that uses sensors and radars to detect threats and has the capability to intercept them.

Despite all the fortifications and technological advancements of the Merkava tank, the Palestinian resistance has successfully defeated it on numerous occasions.

Quality Operations

On Saturday, Palestinian resistance factions, including the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades, announced the execution of a series of quality operations against the Israeli army, resulting in the destruction of a significant number of military vehicles and armored vehicles in various areas.

In a statement, the Al-Quds Brigades said, “We targeted ‘Esnad Sofa,’ a gathering of soldiers, with rocket barrages,” adding, “Our fighters pounded enemy military concentrations in the Juhar al-Dik area with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells.”

The Al-Quds Brigades further stated, “We targeted a Zionist tank and a military bulldozer of type D9 with ‘Tandem’ shells in Tel al-Zaatar, north of the Gaza Strip.”

On the 72nd day of the conflict, the Israeli occupation army continues its military operations in the Gaza Strip, while international efforts intensify to resume ceasefire and prisoner negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

On Sunday, Palestinian media reported the martyrdom of 12 individuals from Muslim, Bedouin, and Al-Nawajah families in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the Deir al-Balah camp in the central Gaza Strip.
