Watan-The leader of the Yemeni Houthi group allied with Iran, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, said on Wednesday that his group would not stand idle in the face of any direct American aggression on Yemen. He emphasized that in the event of an attack on the group, they would target their missiles, drones, and military operations at U.S. warships, American interests, and maritime movement affiliated with the United States.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi also warned other countries against participating in a multinational maritime alliance launched by the United States on Tuesday to protect trade in the Red Sea. This warning came after an escalation in Houthi attacks on ships.

The coalition mentioned by the Pentagon includes the United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Seychelles, and France, in addition to the United States and other undisclosed countries.
The leader of the Houthi group added in his speech: “We are a people who refuse oppression and rely on God Almighty. We cannot fear the American threat, even if the Americans want to engage in direct war and aggression on our country.”
A message to America’s clients in the region
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi concluded by saying, “We are not those who retract from positions for that, nor those who submit or surrender.” He pointed out that they have suffered in recent years from wars “waged by the Americans through their clients from regimes in the region that they control and manipulate for aggression against us,” referring to the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
He described these regimes as “Takfiri forces,” stating that they have committed “the worst crimes, comprehensive blockades, and very large attrition confrontations” against their people.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stated in his speech on Wednesday, “All we wish for is a direct war between us and the American and Israeli forces… Not that the Americans fight us through their clients who fight for them and for agendas, providing them with money and weapons” – without mentioning them by name.
He added, criticizing: “Nothing enters Gaza without American and Israeli approval, and the Americans want to ensure ‘Israel’ has the necessary conditions to commit heinous crimes, silence the countries of the region, and they are accomplices in the horrific crimes by sending experts to manage the war.”
In a message to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, specifically without mentioning their names, al-Houthi said, “We endured the interception operations carried out by some Arab countries, and we did not target them.”
