Watan-The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced the killing of 25 Israeli soldiers with a new locally-made weapon, described as a new sniper rifle named “Al-Ghoul.”
The Qassam Brigades shared a video, seen by many activists as a fiery message to the occupying army, showcasing the manufacturing of the new local weapon used in the Gaza conflict.
The Palestinian resistance movement released a video from inside a weapons manufacturing room resembling a sniper’s den, with the caption: “Tonight, we made with our own hands what we harvest your heads with.”

The statement from the Qassam Brigades also added that Palestinian resistance members destroyed “approximately 41 military vehicles either completely or partially.”
And the Israeli occupation suffers significant losses in its brutal war against the Gaza Strip, despite employing a policy of brutal bombardment and blockade. The numbers of casualties, wounded, and military losses have reached historical proportions, according to observers.
The Brigades, named after the martyr Sheikh Mujahid of Syrian origin, Ezz al-Din al-Qassam, have progressed in the production and use of weapons over nearly 30 years. Their weaponry has evolved from pistols to explosive belts and devices, in addition to grenades, rockets, and culminating in drones.
A follower commented on the new weapon of the Qassam Brigades: ‘New weapons will enter the battle, and their capabilities surpass the enemy’s expectations. Harvesting heads means precision in shooting. We ask Allah for their victory, success, and accurate aim.’
Another wrote: ‘I remember and liked what Abu Ubaida said: the time of Zionist superiority has ended… I truly saw a glimmer of hope in these men.’
Regarding the recent Qassam footage, another follower commented: ‘I believe it is an advanced sniper rifle with high capabilities and greater ranges.’ Meanwhile, a fourth tweeter said: ‘Snipers to seize the heads of the miserable cartoonish occupation forces.’
Heavy losses in the ranks of the occupation
On Wednesday evening, the Qassam Brigades announced that they clashed with an Israeli special force in the middle of Gaza City, resulting in 4 Israeli soldiers killed.
The Palestinian resistance shared another statement, along with a video clip showing scenes of its fighters engaging with Israeli military vehicles and soldiers advancing on the axes of Khan Yunis city, destroying many of them.
The scenes and images shared by the Ezz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, some of which depict the heroic clashes of its fighters on various battlefronts in Gaza, have garnered wide global attention. Activists on social media, journalists, political analysts, and military experts alike have reacted to the details of these operations.
