Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, executed a well-planned ambush that targeted a number of Ukrainian mercenaries fighting alongside the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
Sources reported to the Palestinian Quds News Network that the Al-Qassam ambush killed at least seven Ukrainian mercenaries who were fighting with the occupation army in the Shuja’iya neighborhood. They were detected on Hassanein Street in the neighborhood.
Additionally, the sources noted that the Israeli occupation army did not include the casualties in the officially acknowledged figures regarding its soldiers’ losses in Gaza. They indicated that the ambush also resulted in the killing of additional soldiers from the occupation army.
The sources pointed out that the video circulating of the mercenary unit in one of the schools in Shuja’iya was recorded on the same day as the ambush.

Ukrainian mercenaries fighting within the ranks of the occupation
A video had been circulating on social media showing Ukrainian mercenaries fighting alongside Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
The footage depicted a group of Ukrainian soldiers hiding behind a wall in one of the neighborhoods in Gaza City.
In the circulated scenes, a soldier was seen with Ukrainian writing on a blackboard inside one of the schools that the occupation forces had entered.
An Spanish mercenary is fighting with the occupation army
A few weeks ago, an investigation by the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” revealed that the Israeli occupation has been employing mercenaries since October 7th of last year. The newspaper interviewed the Spanish mercenary Pedro Díaz Flores, known for his association with neo-Nazis.
Corrales, who fought in Ukraine against Russian forces, stated that he is now fighting under Israeli orders in Gaza, and they pay extremely well. He added, “I came for the money, and they pay very well, provide good equipment, and the pace of work is calm. The salary is 3,900 euros per week, regardless of additional tasks.”
The Spanish mercenary mentioned that he is stationed in the occupied Golan Heights and provides only security support for weapons convoys or Israeli army units in the Gaza Strip. He indicated that a private military company supporting Israel recruited him to fight in the ranks of the occupation army, mentioning that he received a phone call from a “former comrade in arms” who informed him that “the Israelis are looking for people with a good military record.”
