Israeli Soldier Reveals Combat Equipment Shortages in Gaza: A Cry for Adequate Protection

Watan-An Israeli soldier complained about a shortage of combat equipment during the war waged by the occupation army on the Gaza Strip, specifically referring to the ground war in the sector.

The soldier said, “We are a group fighting in Gaza. We received weapons from the army without ammunition,” pointing to some weapons they obtained through donations.

The soldier added that they cannot continue fighting in this manner, emphasizing that it should not be expected for them to engage in combat with the minimum of equipment.

The Israeli soldier admitted that a large number of occupation soldiers were killed due to the equipment shortage, stating, “We entered without vests and protective gear.” He pointed out that they conduct patrols, meaning they might encounter resistance face to face without protective vests, emphasizing that one hit could end a soldier’s life.

The Israeli soldier highlighted that protective vests save lives, while the occupation army claims that everything is available. He said, “It’s true; the army says that nothing is lacking, but we raise that issue at different leadership level.
