Watan-The satellite images, broadcasted by Al Jazeera, showed changes in the positions of Israeli occupation forces in several areas in southern Gaza between December 17 and 24 of this month, with a significant disappearance of buildings during the same period.

These scenes were explained by the military expert, Brigadier General Fayez Al-Duweiri, as he provides his military analysis of the developments in the field confrontations between the Israeli occupation forces and the Palestinian resistance.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Al-Duweiri predicted that the Israeli occupation forces would begin withdrawing from southern Gaza within three weeks at most, unless significant changes occur. He affirmed that what is happening in the south is a decisive battle.

He added that the loss of one battle could end all the gains achieved by either party since the beginning of the war, pointing out that the occupation forces stationed in the south of the Strip changed their positions in the past few days for the purpose of destruction, not military necessities.

Al-Duweiri spoke about the destruction caused by the occupation forces, saying that this destruction was left by the occupation forces during their temporary pause for support and reinforcement. He emphasized that this does not achieve any military objective and is merely a form of revenge.

The military expert supported his statement by noting that the forces only moved a few meters, a distance that does not carry any military necessity, indicating that deploying large forces to the Hama area aims to encircle Khan Yunis.

Heavy losses for the occupation army in Gaza

He warned that if the occupation forces succeeded in encircling Khan Yunis, they might open the Fakhariya corridor between Suhayla and meet with forces coming from the direction of Aleppo, avoiding entering the depths of the city.

The occupation army continues to suffer significant losses during clashes with Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.

The occupation army acknowledged on Wednesday the killing of 3 soldiers, including an officer, in the ongoing battles north of the Gaza Strip.

This comes after previously announcing the death of five officers and soldiers, including a company commander in the Nahal Brigade, in addition to 43 others injured, including 9 in serious condition, in the battles in the Gaza Strip in the past few hours.

Based on the latest data, the number of casualties in the ranks of the occupation army rises to 170 officers and soldiers who fell in the ground operation in the Gaza Strip, which began in late October of last year.

Meanwhile, the total number since the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7th of last year has risen to 498, including officers and soldiers.”
