Saraya al-Quds’ Strategic Triumph: Seizing and Examining an Israeli Drone Conducting Reconnaissance in Gaza
Watan-Saraya al-Quds,” the military arm of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, broadcasted a video on Wednesday documenting its control over an Israeli drone that was conducting reconnaissance missions east of Gaza without causing any damage to its structure.
In a statement circulated by Palestinian media, “Saraya al-Quds” pointed out that the unmanned aerial vehicle, model “Sky Racing” with registration number 523, is used by the Israeli occupation forces for monitoring and gathering information.
The drone was conducting reconnaissance missions east of Gaza, and Saraya al-Quds did not disclose the method of its interception or the weapon used in the operation.
An Israeli drone seized by Saraya al-Quds
A video clip showed one of the military experts of Saraya al-Quds examining the unmanned aerial vehicle, assembling and inspecting its wings.
Earlier, Saraya al-Quds also published footage of an Israeli drone of the “Skylark-1” model that was successfully brought down and captured in the central Gaza Strip.
Among its tasks are identifying locations and targets for military aircraft, launching rocket shells, conducting assassination operations, gathering intelligence, and capturing color images, and it has been taken out of service.
