Watan-Powerful and sorrowful words were bid by a patient Palestinian mother to her martyr son at his grave during his burial, after his martyrdom in the continuous Israeli occupation shelling during its ongoing war on Gaza on the 85th day.
In a video captured by Palestinian journalist Atiya Darwish, the Palestinian mother says her farewell to her son, who fell victim to the continuous shelling by the Israeli occupation on Gaza, ‘Farewell, my mother… Send greetings to all our loved ones.’

The Palestinian mother concluded her lament for her martyr son while casting a final gaze of farewell at his grave during his burial, ‘Send greetings to the martyrs, my mother. Send greetings to all our loved ones… Farewell, my mother, we have bid farewell to many.’
The Israeli occupation continues to commit heinous massacres against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly. The number of these massacres has reached approximately 1800, scattered across various locations in the Gaza Strip, since the declaration of its war on October 7th of last month.
Forced displacement towards the south
The Israeli occupation army has employed all brutal means against innocent Palestinian civilians, including ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, genocide, arrests, torture, and more, during its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.
According to statistics, the number of displaced individuals who left their homes in the northern and central areas of Gaza City and moved towards the central and southern parts of the strip has reached around 2 million Palestinians. They are living in difficult and catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
More than 21,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are civilians, have been killed, and 55,000 have been injured with various wounds during the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza until now.
