Watan-Al Jazeera channel obtained new footage on Friday showing battles between the Qassam Brigades and the Israeli army in the neighborhoods of “Ad-Daraj and At-Tuffah” in the east of Gaza, capturing tanks amidst the rubble.

The resistance stated in a press release that ‘Qassam fighters are engaging in fierce clashes in the Shuja’iyya and Jabal Al-Rais areas east of Gaza City and detonating an anti-personnel mine in an Israeli infantry unit.

The statement continued, ‘The fighters targeted another fortified force in a building with a ‘TBG’ shell, resulting in a large number of casualties and injuries among them.’

Footage from the Qassam Brigades showed their fighters targeting a number of vehicles, including tanks and bulldozers, from various distances using ‘Yassin 105’ shells, causing direct hits.

One scene, captured by ‘Watan,’ showed resistance fighters entering through an opening in the wall of a demolished house. A fighter is then seen carrying a launcher from the balcony of the house and directing it towards one of the occupation vehicles, turning it into a mass of fire and smoke.

The circulated video shows scenes of targeting enemy tanks, soldiers, and vehicles at night, accompanied by chants of Takbir.

Another scene depicts a resistance fighter crawling over the rubble of a building, carrying the Yassin 105 launcher.

An Israeli soldier is seen peering out of the tank hatch in one scene, only to be targeted, causing both him and the tank to turn into a flaming mass amid shouts of ‘Allahu Akbar’ from one of the resistance members.

Earlier, the Qassam Brigades announced targeting 20 Israeli military vehicles in the past 48 hours in the neighborhoods of Ad-Daraj and At-Tuffah. They added that their fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with occupation forces in the Shuja’iyya and Jabal Al-Rais areas east of Gaza City.

In a subsequent scene, a tank passing in front of one of the buildings is targeted, and two resistance fighters are seen assisting each other in climbing to the target location.
