Watan-A video has circulated and was described as poignant, featuring the martyr Jannan Al-Birsh, the daughter of Dr. Munir Al-Birsh, the General Director of Health in the Gaza Strip, who was martyred during the current Israeli war on the region.
Jannan appeared in the video, reciting the memorized Quran, crying and supplicating as she recited the Quranic verse, “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.”

In the video, Al-Birsh was seen embracing his daughter after she completed reciting the Quran, amidst emotional family atmosphere.
Jannan had previously been martyred in an airstrike on her father’s house in the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Birsh had previously recounted the details of the targeting, stating that the Israeli army targeted the house where he and his children lived.
He added, “In the night, my daughters Malak and Jannan, both memorizers of the Quran, used to compete to come into my arms. Jannan preceded and slept in my arms when they targeted us. She flew in the second-floor building, and they found her far away.”

Munir Al-Birsh continued, saying, “Jannan was martyred, and I was injured in my back. I cannot move, but may God protect everyone. This is our fate; we cannot escape from it. This is my destiny; I cannot escape from it.”
