Emergency Evacuation at Haneda Airport: Japan Airlines Plane Fire and Earthquake Crisis
Watan-The Japanese authorities at Haneda Airport evacuated all 400 passengers and crew members from the plane that caught fire at the Tokyo capital airport.
Kyodo News Agency, based in Tokyo, reported that the plane belonged to Japan Airlines, which stated that all passengers on board had been successfully evacuated.

Footage broadcasted by the Japanese public broadcaster NHK showed a large part of the plane burning at Haneda Airport.
Japan Airlines stated that Flight 516 collided with an aircraft that appears to be operated by the Japanese Coast Guard after landing at Haneda Airport.
Airport authorities were seen working to extinguish the fire.
This incident occurred at a time when Japan is facing a massive earthquake in the Ibaraki Prefecture along the coastal area of the main Honshu Island.
At least 48 people have lost their lives in the earthquakes.
