Watan-Israeli media revealed new directives and a heightened state of security in the occupation state following the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.

According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation “Kan,” instructions were issued to police officers to raise the state of alert in various directorates across Israel.

Additionally, special preparations are underway in the Israeli official medical organization known as the “Magen David Adom” (Red Star of David) throughout Israel, as reported by the broadcasting corporation.

“Kan” stated that Israel is preparing to respond both from the north and from Gaza to the assassination of al-Arouri.

Hezbollah’s statement on the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri

The Lebanese Hezbollah party confirmed that the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri will not pass without a response or punishment. The Hezbollah statement declared the killing of Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri and his comrades as a serious assault on Lebanon, its people, security, sovereignty, resistance, and conveyed significant political and security messages, symbolisms, and a dangerous development in the course of the war between the enemy and the axis of resistance.

The statement added, “This crime will never pass without a response and punishment Our resistance is steadfast, defiant, loyal to its principles, and committed to the obligations it has imposed on itself. Its hand is on the trigger, and its fighters are at the highest levels of readiness and preparedness.”

Hezbollah’s statement continued, “The criminal enemy, after ninety days of crime, killing, and destruction, failing to subdue Gaza, Khan Yunis, Jabalia camp, and all the brave cities, camps, and villages, resorts to the policy of assassination and physical liquidation for anyone who participated, planned, executed, or supported the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood operation and contributed to defending the oppressed Palestinian people.”

The statement stated, “Today’s crime is a continuation of the assassination crime of Commander Sayyed Rida al-Musawi in another battlefield and a new front of fighting and support. This heinous crime will only increase the determination, faith, and steadfastness of the resistance fighters in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, and Iraq in pursuing the path of resistance and jihad until victory and liberation.”

Al-Arouri was martyred in a drone strike in the southern suburbs of Beirut, an operation that resulted in the assassination of six other leaders and members of the Hamas movement. Hamas, in a statement, mourned Al-Arouri and the two commanders of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Samir Fandi and Azzam Aqra, along with four other members of the movement: Mohammed al-Reis, Ahmed Hamoud, Mohammed Basha, and Mahmoud Zaki Shahin.
