Watan-Hezbollah, the Lebanese party, launched 62 rockets at the Israeli Miron air defense base as part of what it called the initial response to the assassination of senior Hamas resistance movement leader Saleh al-Arouri in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
This rocket barrage is the largest since the start of the border gunfire exchange on October 8th of last year.
Hezbollah stated in a press release that it caused direct damage by targeting the Israeli military base.
It added that the Miron base serves as the sole center for administration, monitoring, and air control in northern Israel (occupied Palestinian territories), with no significant alternative.
