Watan-The Israeli occupation army attempted to portray a sense of victory in the Gaza Strip by conducting an interview with an officer on one of the streets in Gaza City.
The Israeli officer was speaking with the journalist on one of Gaza’s streets when the sounds of gunfire erupted. The journalist was seen looking around in astonishment, witnessing the situation firsthand.
“With the intensification of gunfire from Palestinian resistance elements, the Israeli officer hastily fled, and so did the Israeli journalist. They sought refuge in a military jeep and then fled to one of the buildings.
The resistance continues its strikes
The Palestinian resistance continues its strikes and successes against the Israeli occupation in the ongoing ground battles in the Gaza Strip.
In the latest of these strikes, resistance factions led by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), managed to inflict new losses on the occupying army in terms of both soldiers and equipment.
The Al-Qassam Brigades are preparing for an Israeli force
The Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Saturday that their fighters ambushed an Israeli force of 8 soldiers at point-blank range after luring them into a well-prepared trap in the midst of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis.
The Al-Qassam Brigades further stated that they also targeted one of the occupation soldiers when he entered a house, engaging in clashes with the rest of the force using weapons and grenades in Khan Yunis.
They continued: ‘Yesterday, we besieged a Zionist force of 9 soldiers and clashed with them in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, causing casualties among them.’
Saraya al-Quds bombards Israeli military gatherings
On the other hand, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that they shelled military gatherings in the Station area in central Khan Yunis with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
Israeli army acknowledges the death of a prominent officer
In response, the Israeli army confirmed the death of a deputy commander of the training brigade in the Nahal Brigade during the battles in Gaza.
According to estimates from the Israeli Ministry of Defense, it is anticipated that the number of soldiers with disabilities resulting from the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip since October 7 of last year will reach 12,500.
