Watan-Video footage has circulated documenting the reburial of the bodies of martyrs in a cemetery that was excavated by the occupation forces in the Tuffah neighborhood, north of Gaza.
Al Jazeera aired scenes from the Bureij Cemetery in the Tuffah neighborhood, where the bodies of the martyrs were located.
The scenes depicted the bodies of several martyrs that had been excavated by the Israeli occupation forces while their vehicles were stationed inside.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that all the bodies within the cemetery had been excavated and brought from beneath the ground to the surface.
Additionally, a number of locals were seen returning to the area to bury the bodies of their martyrs in the cemetery that housed the remains of the martyrs.

Details of the Israeli occupation’s excavation of Palestinian graves have emerged
The government’s media office confirmed that the Israeli occupation army excavated 1,100 graves in the Tuffah cemetery east of Gaza City, stealing 150 bodies.
A statement from the media office reported a new crime added to the series of occupation crimes during its genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. It stated that this crime involved the Israeli occupation army excavating around 1,100 graves in the Tuffah neighborhood cemetery east of Gaza City. Occupation vehicles dug them up, removed the bodies of martyrs and the deceased, trampled on them, and violated their dignity without any consideration for the sanctity of the dead or the graves.
After excavating the graves and digging up the cemetery, the occupation army stole around 150 bodies of recently buried martyrs, removing them from the graves and transporting them to an unknown location. This raises suspicions once again regarding another crime, specifically the theft of the organs of martyrs, as previously indicated in earlier statements.
It was noted that the occupation army has repeated this crime on multiple occasions. The latest instance involved delivering 80 bodies of previously stolen martyrs from the governorates of Gaza and North Gaza. The occupation forces tampered with them, delivered them mutilated, and buried them in Rafah city without providing any information about them. Clear changes were observed in the features of the bodies, indicating the occupation’s theft of vital organs from the remains of these martyrs.
Previously, graves were excavated in Jabalia, and bodies of martyrs were also stolen from there. The occupation continues to detain dozens of bodies of martyrs from the Gaza Strip.
Hamas condemns the Israeli crime
In turn, the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” condemned the Israeli occupation’s excavation of Palestinian graves in Gaza and the theft of martyrs’ bodies, transferring them to an unknown location.
In a statement, the movement expressed that this heinous crime reflects the brutality of this fascist army. It called on countries, governments, human rights organizations, and relevant international institutions to fulfill their humanitarian and ethical responsibilities. Hamas urged them to take serious and immediate action to condemn and expose these escalating crimes.
