Israeli Media Unveils Dubious Tactics: Alleged Knowledge of Yahya Sinwar’s Location Sparks Controversy
Yahya Sinwar

Watan-The Israeli newspaper ‘Yisrael Hayom’ has made allegations claiming that the occupation forces know the location of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, in the Gaza Strip.

As the brutal Israeli war on Gaza enters its 94th day, clashes and Israeli airstrikes continue across various northern and southern regions of the Strip, amid the worsening humanitarian and health crisis.

The newspaper suggested that the occupation forces likely know Sinwar’s location in Gaza and refrain from

attacking him under the pretext that he surrounds himself with a number of Israeli prisoners.

New Lies to Justify the Occupation’s Shortcomings

These allegations emerged despite the widespread reports confirming the occupation’s targeting of the Gaza Strip without any regard for prisoners, resulting in the killing and injuring of many, contradicting the narrative presented by the newspaper in its entirety.

What is noteworthy is that these lies persistently circulate in connection with claims about leaked photos, including those published by the occupation showing the leader of Palestinian resistance, Mohammed Al-Daif, supposedly drinking tea inside what appears to be a forest or wooded area.

In the alleged image, “Al-Daif” is seen holding a tea cup in his right hand while checking the time on his watch with his left hand, which holds money (dollars).

Activists ridiculed the occupation’s fabrication of the image, whether true or not, with the placement of money in the hands of Mohammed Al-Daif, in an attempt to demonize the leader who has caused Israel its biggest nightmare in its history.

Regarding the Location of Yahya Sinwar

The Israeli newspaper ‘Yisrael Hayom’ has claimed that the occupation forces may likely know the location of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, in the Gaza Strip. These claims follow numerous lies propagated by Israel about the leaders of Palestinian resistance.

This is not the first time such allegations have been made. The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation ‘Kan’ previously quoted a security source stating that the Israeli occupation has information about Yahya Sinwar’s whereabouts and that Tel Aviv is attempting to locate him.

The occupation has ruthlessly targeted civilian-populated areas in Gaza, resulting in a significant humanitarian tragedy alongside the suffocating blockade imposed by the occupation, with support from Egypt, which closes the Rafah border crossing.

According to ‘Kan,’ the occupation is working through the 98th Division to expand its field control over Gaza and carry out intensive searches for tunnel openings and underground structures.

Significant Technological Advancements for Hamas

Israeli media has acknowledged “significant technological advancements in detecting and monitoring underground structures that the resistance has established over the years in the Gaza Strip.”

Estimates suggest that Yahya Sinwar has invested most of the military wing’s resources of Hamas in constructing underground spaces in Khan Yunis.

The leaders of the brigades use these tunnels, which are much deeper and wider than those located in the northern and central areas of the Gaza Strip.
