Watan-The video clip, showing a Palestinian young man breaking down in screams after the martyrdom of his mother due to an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip, has been widely shared.
The young man is seen crying out, calling for his mother and saying, “My mother died scared, my mother passed away while she was frightened.”
While some bystanders attempted to console the young man, he told them, “Get someone to make me quiet,” indicating a request for assistance in rescuing any remaining members of his family trapped under the rubble.
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip had previously released a report on the outcomes of 93 days of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, detailing unprecedented losses and damages.
The figures released by the government office revealed that the occupying army committed 1,915 massacres, resulting in 29,835 martyrs and missing persons. Of these, 22,835 were recorded as martyrs who reached hospitals.
The government office documented 10,000 child martyrs, 7,000 female martyrs, 326 martyrs from medical teams, 45 martyrs from civil defense, and 107 journalist martyrs, with 7,000 missing persons, 70% of whom were children and women.
More than 58,000 Injuries in Gaza
The injuries resulting from the war on Gaza reached 58,416, including 6,000 injuries in need of travel for treatment to save lives. Meanwhile, 650 wounded individuals traveled abroad for treatment.
There are 10,000 cancer patients facing the risk of death, 99 cases of arrest among health professionals, ten detained journalists, one million displaced people in the Gaza Strip, 400,000 infected with infectious diseases due to displacement, 134 government facilities destroyed by the occupation, and 94 schools and universities completely destroyed, with 295 schools and universities partially destroyed by the occupation.
Mosques Destroyed by the Occupation
There are 130 mosques completely destroyed by the occupation, 240 mosques partially destroyed by the occupation, and 3 churches targeted and destroyed by the occupation.
Moreover, 69,000 residential units were completely destroyed by the occupation, and 290,000 residential units were partially destroyed by the occupation.
Dropping Thousands of Tons of Explosives
The occupying army dropped 65,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip. Additionally, 30 hospitals were taken out of service by the occupation, 53 health centers were taken out of service by the occupation, and 150 health facilities were partially targeted by the occupation.
The government office revealed that the occupying army destroyed 121 ambulances and 200 archaeological and heritage sites.
