Watan-Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, affirmed that the resistance is fighting on two fronts. The first is military, where the enemy is suffering significant losses, and the second is humanitarian, pointing to the difficult humanitarian situation experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip and their endurance of its consequences despite the harsh conditions they face.
This came during a speech by Haniyeh on Tuesday at the conference “Al-Aqsa Storm and the Role of the Nation” held in the Qatari capital, Doha, on the sidelines of the General Assembly meeting of the International Union of Muslim Scholars in its sixth session.
Ismail Haniyeh, in his speech, noted that the occupation government failed to achieve its goals after about 100 days of the war, despite the high cost and the massacres committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

He added, “The occupation has failed miserably in achieving any of its objectives, succeeding only in revealing its ugly bloody face. The occupation will not regain any of its captives except by releasing all our prisoners from its jails.”
He further stated that what is happening are declared objectives adopted by the Israeli war government, the expanded government, and also endorsed by the American administration and the Western alliance.
The head of Hamas’ political bureau added that the hostilities against Gaza are American and Israeli, stating that when the American administration brings all its components to the region and outlines the war plan in an attempt to eliminate the resistance, we understand the meaning and dimensions of the battle taking place today on the land of Gaza.
Ismail Haniyeh: Without the steadfastness of our people, global support for Gaza would have been crushed.
He stated that the Israeli aggression entered Gaza with four stages: the first being comprehensive aerial bombardment, the second involving ground invasion and contemplating the occupation of the sector. The third stage, labeled as focused surgical operations against the resistance and its leaders, and the fourth stage is the political one, claiming how Gaza would be after Hamas or the day following the war without resistance.
Ismail Haniyeh continued, “There have been more than 350 martyrs since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa tempest in the West Bank, and what is happening there is significant and dangerous. We are fighting on two fronts: the first is military, where the enemy is suffering severe losses, and the second is humanitarian,” referring to the difficult humanitarian situation faced by the residents of the sector and their endurance despite the harsh conditions they face.
Haniyeh explained that “the role of the nation is significant, especially regarding the front of supporting the resistance,” emphasizing that “the entire region is on a hot plate.”
He said, “Without the steadfastness of our people, global support for Gaza would have been crushed, and we must build on that.”
It is worth noting that on the 95th day of the aggression on Gaza, the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of 9 officers and soldiers and the injury of 27 others in the past 24 hours.
The statement from the occupation forces indicated that they expanded their operations in Khan Yunis in the southern part of the sector, while the resistance engaged in fierce clashes with its forces in the north.
